Cancellation Policy

In the event you need to cancel and do not have cancellation insurance, we will attempt to re-rent the unit. If we are able to do so, we will refund your deposit(s), less any rental rate differences and credit card charges. You agree that any rental rate reductions for last minute re-bookings are fully at the our discretion. If we are unable to re-rent the unit, your deposit(s) will be forfeited, although we may offer a credit for a future stay at our discretion. No refunds will be given for weather related cancellations or early departures. You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance separately.

Deposit Policy
You agree that any damages to the property other than normal wear and tear will be charged to your credit card. Guest agrees that authorization for use of credit card for potential damages cannot be revoked and will not terminate until 14 days after the property is vacated. A valid credit card must be on file prior to arrival. Guest authorizes use of this credit card to satisfy any damages and agrees that no refusal to pay, or chargeback, shall be initiated by Guest as a result of charges for damages.
Remaining Balances will be charged automatically 30 days before your stay begins, or 60 days if you stay is for 30 days or more.

We have been coming to this great rental for over 10 years. It is a little funky and has a lot of stairs from the road. And the view is phenomenal. The house is very well equipped with large rooms. The owners are very accommodating. We are very comfortable there and will be back again this spring.

My husband, 2 year old and I stayed in the upper unit mid July to mid August. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the view! You have a panoramic view of the ocean that is just amazing. We also felt it was a bit more spacious than the pictures depicted!
The unit had everything we needed for our month stay. It’s in a great location. We never walked the 6 blocks to the beach but you could have. We just didn’t want to tackle the hill with our 2 year old. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! It did get a bit hot with the higher than usual temps and no A/C, but I don’t think you would find central air really anywhere in Laguna. We managed with fans and it always cooled down nicely at night. Also to note, the beds are extremely comfortable!!

This is a home, lovingly decorated, true to a Laguna Beach cottage. But far from being ,cozy or dark, it has large sunlit living spaces and a fully equipped and large kitchen. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The baths are quaint, but charming with lots of towels, shampoos and soaps. Great sunsets!!

We, had a great stay at this beautiful charming beach cottage. Beautifully appointed and with everything you could possibly need for your Laguna Beach stay. The place is very clean, and well appointed. Great location close restaurants, shopping and of course just blocks from the beach. Had a amazing time and memories. Loved it !!!

I always enjoy visiting Laguna and this clean and cozy unit is perfect for the three of us. We've stayed in this unit several times over the years; love the easy living. Sunset drinks on the deck overlooking the best ocean view in Laguna isn't to be missed. The owners keep the kitchen well stocked with spices and other supplies which greatly simplifies shopping and cooking. Comfortable beds and high thread count linens make for a great sleep. We feel at home when we're there. Can't wait to go back.

My 9 year old daughter and I had a wonderful few days staying in Laguna beach in this great garden cottage. It's central to all sorts of things to do in and around town and offers lovely views up and down the coast. My daughter really enjoyed the patio and plants in the garden - and of course the nearby beaches. The accomodations are really comfortable, cosy and well appointed. Would recommend very highly.

Who needs a villa in the south of France when on the deck of "Coastview" you can dance! See fabulous sunshine's, walks to the beach- with heights of pleasure you'll never reach. Old folks like us felt like kids again - we haven't enjoyed ourselves so much since I don’t' know when!
"Happy days"
We spent a very happy 30 days in this wonderful cottage. Our first impression upon arrival was very positive and we only fell more fond of the house and its location as time went by. We ate often at local restaurants (K'ya and Anastasia were our favorites), walked the beaches from La Jolla to Newport, had family for meals and other family to stay. The house expanded nicely to accommodate us two, three and for some meals, six, including a toddler. We appreciated the wire around the deck, children's books and general unfussiness of the property. We didn't spend enough time on this amazing deck, since there were so many things to do in Laguna & it's surrounds. We hope to return next May.New Review
